Financing Public Participation

Project: Bill Law (and a position paper that accompanies it) regarding funding for the public participation. To enable real public participation which have the ability to influence government, decision makers must provide a budget that will allow the public and representatives of environmental organizations,to hire experts in order to review the material before submitting applications for permits supervisor review. The purpose of the law of public co-financing is to bring the participation of Israeli citizens in general and environmental procedures in the process of getting permits.
